Sign C9: closed to bicycles, mopeds, microcars and more
This road is closed to, among others, bicycles, mopeds, light mopeds, microcars, farm vehicles and riders. The full list is below.

“Closed to riders, livestock, carts, agricultural and forestry tractors, low-speed motor vehicles, mobile machinery, microcars (brommobielen), bicycles, light mopeds (snorfietsen), mopeds and mobility vehicles”
What you need to know
- Microcars may not enter either. By law, a microcar (brommobiel) is a moped on more than two wheels with a body. art. 1; annex 1, C9
- Cars and motorcycles are not on the list. So they may enter, unless other signs forbid it. annex 1, C9
- Is there a sub-sign underneath with "uitgezonderd" (except)? Then the sign does not apply to the road users shown on it. art. 67
Exam tip
The sign lists many groups. Remember in particular: bicycles, mopeds, light mopeds and microcars may not enter. annex 1, C9
