No overtaking: motor vehicles may not overtake each other here. The sign is round with a red border, showing a red and a black car.

“Motor vehicles may not overtake each other”
What you need to know
- The ban applies between motor vehicles. Mopeds, pedal-assist bicycles and mobility vehicles are not motor vehicles by law, and ordinary bicycles have no engine. So they are not covered by this ban. art. 1; annex 1, F1
- The overtaking ban ends at sign F2, or at sign F8 (end of all prohibitions). annex 1, F2 and F8
